I love my Amazon Echo Dots (I have x2 of them) but I find that playing audio to my home speakers using Bluetooth is a bit of a "hack" as my speakers are already Spotify connect / WiFi enabled.
Is there any way using either the Spotify built in skill, or IFTT for example, that I can play a song on a Spotify Connect speaker, rather than directly on my Amazon Echo?
For example my Living room and kitchen both have an LG Music Flow Spotify connect speaker, and I would love to be able to play music on these devices by issuing a command to my echo. Currently, I have to play the music directly on the Echo and stream this to the speaker via Bluetooth. Of course that works, but control over Spotify connect speakers, and the ability to play to any of them, even those not directly connected to the echo got, would be amazing.
I assume this is loosely how the Sonos skill works.
Is there a solution, or any plans to mirror this sonos feature with Spotify connect?
This is generally a "customer to customer" forum. But it's a new forum so perhaps Amazon technical experts may appear. Or not.
I would personally advise addressing your question direct to Amazon using the HELP or CONTACT US options - the "1st line" customer service script driven support staff may not be able to answer your question but perhaps the second tier technical staff will be able to reply to you.
