I'm thinking of getting my kids an Amazon Echo for Christmas. At the moment they have a CD player, and drawerful of music and audiobook CDs (mostly scratched). I've got an amazon prime account, with a storage plan for 250,000 songs, and an Auduble account which is mostly kids books and a few for me. In the house we already have a couple of Fire TV boxes, kindles, other tablets etc.I have started ripping the CDs before they become unreadable, and uploading them to my Amazon Music storage. Questions:
Today, with all the devices, the our house frequently bumps up against the 10 device limit. Is this likely to be a problem with the Echo as well?
I'd like to restrict content on certain devices. I know this is probably a user account control, but if I create other accounts, can I share music storage with them?
Is the Echo the way to go? Perhaps a kindle fire would be better....
