I am trying to set up an Echo. Got everything set up ok and working with my husbands Amazon account. He then decided that it should be set up with my details as I'd be the main (only) user. That where the fun started! I eventually managed to get it set up with my account, but I can't get rid of his free trial with Amazon music. I have gone into his account and tried to cancel, but it will only cancel it at the end of the trial. It says I cannot have an account as there is already one associated with the device. Is there any way it can be deleted immediately or do I just have to wait. I thought I had deleted everything and reset the echo by holding down the microphone and lower volume button.
I have tried resetting but it still says ‘this device already has Amazon music unlimited associated with it. Contact customer services or cancel the subscription. ‘ I have cancelled the subscription I set up when the device was set up for my husband but it is still in the free trial stage and won’t seem to cancel.
