I recently acquired an Echo Input, connected my Bose SoundLink speakers via bluetooth and all appears to be working just great!
However, on the Alex app, it shows an ! flag saying that the device is not connected to a speaker.
As far as I'm aware, the Alex app is up to date and Google Play store has no outstanding updates for the app.
The device details show that the speakers are paired ok.
I've tried disconnecting and re-connecting several times, but the result is the same each time.
Ideas, or is this simply a bug in the Alex app?
Welcome to the forum! Besides re-connecting, have you tried restarting the Input? If that doesn't help, try de- and re-registering the Input in the Alexa app, then set it up with the speakers again. Does the issue persist when you connect the speakers via AUX cable?
I got the opportunity to re-register the Echo Input device, but the problem persists.
The registration and bluetooth pairing run just fine with no errors.
Being the Input works fine besides the exclamation mark issue, I'd recommend contacting customer service so they can do some more troubleshooting on their end. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you at this time but I hope you're still enjoying your Echo Input!
EDIT: I do have one more thing you could do; try logging out and back into the Alexa app.
