We have successfully set up our Echo, however we cannot connect any bluetooth devices. We can see lots of devices through our ipad (ie speakers etc) - and we can see the Echo - but the Echo can’t see any of them. Our previous one did not hav this problem. We have used the instructions to ‘clear’ Bluetooth devices from the Alexa App but there were none there (as it wouldn’t connect in the first place).

Hi Agileflower,
You'll want to make sure the Bluetooth device you're trying to pair is discoverable, then open the Alexa app > Devices > Select Echo > Bluetooth Devices > Pair a new Device. If trying to pair with a mobile device, open the Bluetooth settings on that device and select the Echo there to pair.
I initially got this problem when asking alexa to pair. The echo couldnt see anything. Using the app was better as it could see devices. After selecting a device there was a delay before the echo responded with "connected" sometimes with such a delay that the failed to connect message would appear and selecting the echo on your device and connect for a second time corrected the issue.
