Hi I have brought the Alexa 3rd generation. I have tried everything to set it up but it not work. I followed the instructions and added the app to my phone and added the device from my phone. It keeps saying that I need to register the Alexa on my Amazon account but on my phone app it is showing that it is there and when I look at my Amazon account on my PC it is showing that it is registered.
I have tried de-registering it from my account on my PC and uninstalling the app on my phone to start again, but when it loads up it is already showing that the device is in the app on my phone but it isn't on my PC account. And when I go though the add a device so it will show in my account on PC it then shows as a second Alexa device , when I have only got 1 Alexa device. I have checked all the help information online and done all the things that you recommend but nothing is working.
But it shows activity history within the Amazon Alexa app every time I have tried to sort it so something must be connecting.
Can you help me please

I assume you mean you have a 3rd Generation Echo Dot.
I suggest you have Customer Service phone you and give you step by step instructions or use the Chat option. They have the advantage over us that they can see your account and will know whether your Echo has been registered correctly or not. Click on "Help" at the bottom of this page to get started.
