We’ve had Alexa for about 4 years and the last 18 months she’s been fine connected to our BT Smarthub via TP Link Wi-fi AV600 extenders. Last week she decided she didn’t like it any more.
I’ve tried resetting the router and plugs, resetting Alexa, even connecting directnto the Smart hub but the result is the same. You can reconnect via the Alexa app and play Spotify/radio etc but after about 5 mins you get the dreaded blue rings then the red and the doom and gloom message “your Wi-fi doesn’t appear to be connected to the internet”. It is, because all the mother devices are working fine.
Is this a known problem and if so if so can anyone tell me a solution?
I’ve checked that and think they’re all off. It’s been working fine for 18 months and now suddenly doesn’t. No changes as far as I am aware. But I’ve reset the router and checked there are no settings that interfere. Thanks.
