I changed over my internet today and I have not been able to reconnect my echo.
I went into the app to update the password. I clicked on the device name which it said was offline. I clicked on change on the Wifi settings. I took me to the setup for my device.
I went to the Manually connect to Echo screen. Here it had me go to the wifi settings on my phone and connect to the Amazon-xxx. I did that and I heard my echo say it was connected. It told me to go back to the Alexa App, which I did. However, the Alexa app seems to be hung up on the Manually connect to echo. It does nothing from there. It does not give me any options to connect or do anything further. The only options are Don't See the Orange Light Ring? or Cancel Setup. What am I supposed to do now?
I have canceled the setup multiple times and tried unplugging and replugging my echo. I have tried resetting the device. I have tried deregistering it and trying to set it up as a new device. I even tried reinstalling the app on my phone. Nothing seems to work. I can not get my device connected.
I'm having trouble with my Echo as well. I live in Ireland and I just bought a Dot and a LG TV 50UK6470PLC (which on the website says to be compatible - just not in Ireland, but I just figured it out now) and it doesn't connect. I'd like to know if someone knows how to fix it? I tried to change the region but it didn't work.
