Alexander, the OP already indicated they've established the Amazon Household. The question is to how to link the other two Amazon accounts (childrens') for announcements. Devices not registered to either of the existing Household accounts would not be accessible, correct?
On a similar note, (and please ignore it if it's totally daft), I have 3 DOT's registered to one Amazon account. It seems to be that I can not set an alarm that "goes off" on all three DOT's and/or can not cancel and alarm from any but the DOT that was given the alarm instruction. Is there a way to have all dots "alarm" at 8am (for example)? Is there also a way for me to ask Alexa to cancel "all alarms on all DOTS"? or what ever the correct instruction would be? Thanks for any input :) CW

I can only seem to add the one adult to my amazon household. So yes devices not registered to my existing household are not accessible.
I would not really wish for my “adult” children to have access to my account and orders as my wife has a member.
No point adding them as children into my household as they won’t then have access to their account through their echo dot.
i guess I’m asking if it’s possible to link or authenticate multiple devices under multiple adult amazon accounts? No sharing of benefits / memberships or anything.
Just so the Alexa devices “see” each other within my home network.
seems a huge oversight if not able? And pretty much defeats the point of me buying them as I’m bored of shouting upstairs when tea is ready.
anyone know if it’s possible?
ETA: you could also look into Parental Controls (hopefully another forum member can post specifics in the UK as I'm more familiar with the options in the US) and you can remove the ability for Voice Purchasing.
