Hope you can help me because Amazon Chat Support certainly can't.
I've been trying to fix voice purchasing with my Echo Plus over the past couple of days and it's been driving me to near insanity as it's no longer working.
I used to be able to easily purchase items with my voice but all of a sudden Alexa has stopped and only adds reminders in my basket where it gives me the option to choose what to buy in the app as opposed to just buying it with the Echo Plus. I'm a Prime member, with my default address and payment method set up along with 1-click ordering but it's still doing the same damn thing - piling up my basket with reminders to purchase things (it also says 'not ready for checkout').
Is there something I'm missing? Have Amazon disabled voice purchasing with Alexa in the UK? Is there a setting I haven't allowed? Or am I somehow being punished? Please help me out. Thanks in advance!
I can not answer your question. I only highlight that if YOU change things then things CHANGE. check all of your settings, options subscriptions and things and then - if nothing seems logical - contact Amazon again and give them the full tools to be able to help you to solve the problem :) Good luck, CW
