I find it really annoying that I can ask Alexa to show my front door and I can set an action to do other actions when motion or doorbell press detected but really annoying I cant tell it to show the camera on my Echo Show automatically. I have seen other suggesting using a Dot to announce 'Alexa, show me the front door' so that the Echo hears this but that's seems a bit mad when it could be done. I assume nobody else has found a feature/other way????
You have a sort of stream of consciousness style to your OP maybe you could create a feature request via your Alexa app help & feedback section also you might raise the issue with the ring doorbell skills maker as thay may have an understanding of why it is not easily possible to do these things automatically and thats why they are annoying????
There is only 1 way I've found it's rudimentary but works...and very very easy.... if you have a half decent tv.. most new tv's remember the "Last state" they were in when powered off... buy a fire tv stick 2nd gen .. they only like £20 now (alexa can show camera on fire tv stick)
So create a routine "when doorbell pressed turn on tv" the tv will turn on instantly displaying the camera
You just have to ... before every time turn tv off make sure was on fire stick channle /hdmi when turned off.. its annoying but works and lol better than anything ring or amazon havd offered us :)
