My friends in the States are able to display their Facebook pictures as well as their Amazon albums, but I can’t see that option in the Echo Show menu in the U.K.
Is it only a US skill and if so is it coming to the U.K. ?
Welcome to the forum! You can view your Amazon Photos as a slideshow on the Echo Show screen or even create a background. To view your photo, you can ask Alexa: "Show my photos."
"Show This Day photos."
"Show Family Vault photos."
"Show my photo albums."
"Show my [album title] album."
When you see a photo or an album you want as your background, say, "Set this photo as my background" or "Set my album [title] as my background."
To do this on the device: 1. Say, "Go to settings," or swipe down from the top of the Echo Show screen and select Settings. 2. Select Home Screen. 3. Select Background. 4. Select Amazon Photos. 5. Select Change and choose the album you'd like to set as your background.
To link a Facebook account, use the Alexa app:
1. From the menu, select Settings. 2. Select Photos. 3. Select Link account next to Facebook, then log in using your Facebook information. Alexa can show all photos from the linked Facebook account, or a certain album can be chosen. Photos from Facebook can also be selected as a device background.
Midwaybrit can I ask do you still have the photos option in your settings. I used to have it and set facebook photos, but changed it as I wanted as change. I now cannot find the photos setting to go back to using facebook
