I have four Echo devices and one sub. I have created a stereo sub pair in my living room and want to create a second stereo pair (without sub) in my dining room. The Alexa app allows me to pair the speakers but the sound only comes out of one of them. Oddly if I manually adjust the volume on the speaker that’s not playing it adjusts the volume on the paired speaker.
I’ve also noticed that, although I have two stereo pairs saved, when I look at the paired group the “wrong” speakers show in the group ie. the living room speakers show in the dining room pair. When I unpair the dining room pair the correct speakers then show.
It seems to me that Amazon will only allow me to set up one stereo pair, if this is the case it seems a bit unfair, especially as all the speakers are echo devices purchased from Amazon.
Any help appreciated - even if it’s confirmation that it can’t be done!
If so, are both devices up-to-date with the most recent software version available? You can say, "Check for software updates," to ask Alexa to download and install the latest software updates available.
Whether or not an update is installed, you may also want to try restarting both devices to see if you continue to experience this issue. To restart your Echo devices, just unplug the power adapter from the device or the outlet and then plug it back in.

Hello Groesffordd,
Welcome to the Forums!
For the two Echo devices, in the Stereo pair, that are experiencing this issue, are they the exact same model of Echo device?
Is that model listed in the Stereo Pair column of this help page:
