If like me you've been plagued by "Sorry, this device lost its connection" and "Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding right now" error messages, here's a tip that worked for me. If your router Channel is set to Automatic, change it to a specific number - I just chose one at random. Since I changed mine I no longer get any lost connection messages and only a few having trouble understanding messages. It's gone from 2 or 3 errors a day to only 3 or 4 a week. Not perfect, but much better than it was. Probably worth trying if you're getting a lot of errors.
It may also work for other Alexa devices, but I can't test that.
