I bought a Kindle Fire for each of my Grandchildren. Every time they open them up, my account shows up with all my icons, including access to the internet. Their Fire's are set up with parental controls. Do I just De-Register these from my account?
You need to talk to whomever helped set up the Fires for your grandchildren using the children profiles and parental controls.
If you did it and are not sure about things then hit the HELP button on every page of the amazon website and navigate the help options click "other" and finally select talk for free and work it out with a paid customer service help person from Amazon.
Basically it sounds as if the parent controls have not been set up correctly or have not been activated.

I wonder why someone would follow their own alternative forum profile.
Thank you - I set them up with their own names etc. and downloaded some games for them. However, on their Fire's it starts on my Fire page and keeps linking everything back to my own Amazon account. My Daughter set up the parental controls, but all they need to do is press the "Home" button and it takes them back to my front page. I thought if I De-Registered the devices from my account, then my Daughter could set them up from scratch herself, but would the same thing happen with her account?
