I'm trying to save a specific website address onto the homepage of my tablet (amazon fire 8). I'm using google chrome browser.
The 'add to homepage' button option does not appear.
I can add the address to a bookmark but I want to click on the icon on my homepage and go straight to the website.
I'm setting up a research study which is why i need it to work like this.
Does anyone know if this is possible? If yes, how can I do it?
Thanks very much for your help.
Why do you use chrome instead of silk?
Many thanks for your reply.
I read online that you could save websites onto the homepage with Chrome and not with Silk.
Do you know if you can do this with silk?
My apologies. I stupidly assumed this was available with Silk.
as Chrome is Google and Google and Amazon have been behaving like spoilt brats towards each other the feature may have been disabled by Amazon as a Ya! Boo! *****! towards Google.
i hope I am wrong.
sorry for being able to provide any further help.
bloody hell again!!!!!

Ok thanks for the information.
