My Fire Tablet 7" (2nd generation) suddenly started to generate issues this morning (18 Oct 2018); I'm not able to start applications and "Swype stopped working" appearing on the screen and shortly (3s) after "facebook stopped working" - I have re-booted the device (>5 times) and charged it for >60 min. without any result - no other advice in the device forum available. What can I do? Thank you for your help.
Important: Resetting your device will remove your personal information (including your settings for Parental Controls), Amazon account information, Wi-Fi settings, and any downloaded content. Because a factory reset will remove any content you've downloaded to your device, make sure to back up your personal content to your computer first. Any content you purchased from Amazon is automatically saved to the Cloud and can be downloaded again when you register your Fire tablet to your account again.
Any in-app items on your Fire tablet may be lost during a factory reset. Please check with the app developer for more details on their in-app policies before completing a factory reset. If you have parental controls enabled on your tablet prior to the factory reset, you will need to turn them back on once the device is re-registered.
Swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap Settings or More. Tap Device or Device Options, and then tap Reset to Factory Defaults.
