Can I make a folder on my home screen for all the apps that I don't use? If so how? And do I just drag them across into it? Again, how? Using 5th Gen Fire. Cheers
Yes, you do exactly that.
On the home page press and hold an App Icon you want to "hide".
Keep touching it for about 2/3 seconds. It will change colour. A Check / tick mark will appear on it.
Still pressing that icon simply drag it on top of another icon you want to hide.
Let go. The Fire will create a Folder for you
The Fire will probably give you an autommatic name or call it something you like.
I generally move a max of 4 apps into a "folder" since you can still make out the icons if you want to.
It is not worth selecting "delete" from any Amazon installed apps - the system will either refuse to let you or just sneakily download it again when you are not looking :)
You CAN delete apps from your Fire that you selected/bought and now hate. Do the 2 second app hold then select the DELETE option.
Hope this helps.
