Well took a while to find it doesn't get recognised at all on a XP laptop
and on a fresh Win 10 install on Acer Aspire x3810 it gets the same results as my own home build PC. ie its hidden in device manager saying drivers don't exist for it. Then I try manually installing the MTB USB driver for it, a Fire & picture appears in the "This PC", but its just an empty inaccessible windows folder. With a this device has disconnected message if you try a paste files into it.
