Hi got New tablet for kids and can't register the device as says email password ect are wrong but can log on to my Amazon with same details even when try someone else i.d and password it still says wrong details ?

Where did you purchase it? Was it gifted to you? If a gift, and the buyer didn't specify the purchase was a 'Gift,' it was pre-registered to their Amazon account and nothing you input will work until it's de-registered from their account. Contact Customer Service via

Aware of that. *If* OP purchased the device from someone selling it as 'new,' but Fire Tablet was previously reported to Amazon as lost/stolen, de-registering on the device, itself, still wouldn't facilitate re-registering *if* blacklisted.

true, but I was just talking about deregistering it which is possible from the device
