The Alexa App is a perpetual spinning circle - doesn't change after 10 minutes.
Occasionally have been presented with a sign-in screen at start-up, to which I enter my Amazon password, and then asked if I want to open in Alexa or Silk Browser. Have tried both. No difference.
Have also tried both soft and hard resets - same issue.
If don't get a response, will return it.
This is about your Amazon credentials. Is your tablet using them?
Usually, a Fire tablet uses you Amazon user ID all the time. Like when you first got it. It already knows your Amazon ID.
Thus, Amazon based resources and functions are automatically aligned. You can browse your books, music, video and other resources without having to log-in again.
The same is true for the Amazon App. It automatically knows your ID and should not require you to log in.
I would suggest contact amazon technical support to have them help you to get your tablet to recognise your Amazon account.
