I am having problems using my new, 8th Generation Kindle Fire HD 8 in combination with a SoundCore mini, Bluetooth Speaker. When I stream music (Spotify, Amazon Music, and BBC Sound Apps) the music regularly cuts out for a second or so. It is so bad I would like to send my new Kindle back but before I do I would like to make sure I have tried everything to fix it. I never used to have this problem with my previous, 7th Generation Fire HD 8.
Hey there @Lonn: I have to say that this is the exact reason why I returned my latest generation Fire. Bought it in the .... that special sale thing ... liked the Fire but found the bluetooth terrible. silence at beginning of most music tracks and silence at the beginning of every sentence when using Talk-To-Me.
I hope that others can offer you more positive suggestions - but I have to say I was very happy to dump my Sage coloured beast back to Amazon for a full refund. CW

I wonder why someone would follow their own alternative forum profile.
I found a way to resolve this. Every time I use the speaker I go to Bluetooth settings on the Kindle and 'forget' and 're-pair' the speaker. I noticed this stops the wheel "looking for other devices" spinning and lets the music play uninterrupted.
