Experiencing a lot of Netflix app issues since last firetv stick software update. Anyone else?
tvq-pm-100 (5.2.5) occurs whenever I fast forward content for example. This message displays on screen:
'We're having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title'
Tried reinstalling Netflix app. Hasn't helped. May need to do factory reset...
I don't use Netflix, but is it worth asking the same question on the Netflix help pages? When one changes the other has to catch up I guess and I wonder if it's Amazon or Netflix that needs to smooth things?
I tried all of the suggestions on the Netflix support page under the firetv stick section for this error before posting:
The last point suggests that the issue is possibly a problem at the device manufacturer end.
oh well, probably worth contacting Amazon then under support or repair or replacement or refund.
Maybe clutching at straws.
turn tv off at mains until the standby light goes out. Or 5 mins.
switch tv back in for 5 mins. Switch tv off at mains again.
plug in firestick.
switch tv back on
i can get similar Netflix problems, which are cumulative build up, for not exiting the app correctly via Exit Netflix. Switching the Tv off clears the TV internal memory.

In the end, I had to do a factory reset and set everything up again.
Everything is working correctly at the moment.
I fixed the issue by going to settings~applications~ manage Installed applications~selected Netflix~clear cache.
