How do I know if I'm receiving atmos sound.
I've selected "best available " on firestick audio settings. There is no dolby atmos selection
I have the firestick connected to my dolby atmos sony soundbar
Do I need to do anything else?
That's about all you have to do, there is no Atmos settings.
The only thing i have found so far that has Dolby Atmos enabled, is The 4K version of Jack Ryan.
My Denon amp indicates Atmos when Jack Ryan is streaming.
Press atmos on the soundbar. Whether it receives atmos, or not, it simulates it.
I'll assume I'm getting atmos sound then if the film states it is. Lol
I could try the film just through the netflix app on my tv first and compare the difference.
Or just switch atmos on and off on the soundbar. I would imagine you can tell the difference between a real signal and a simulated one.
May, or not, help
The Fire Stick must be powered by its own power supply
and...of course...if this service is in the UK yet
I have the sony htzf9 soundbar that has built in dolby atmos. I can't see a button anywhere on the bar for Atmos. If anykne has same bat and can confirm that'll be great thanks
I was under the impression it had a remote control. What does the user manual say about it.
The remote has nothing on it dolby atmos and there is just a table inside the manual showing dolby atmos is available when connected to compatible devices
The soundbar has no menu other than that shown on screen of your tv. Maybe the user guide will explain things better to you.
Maybe atmos is not yet available in the uk?
I'm in the UK and Atmos is OK here.
