Given the savaging it’s been given in reviews it seems not be a surprise.
the BBC are obviously revamping their portfolio. Meanwhile, let’s all panic and attack everything.
out of interest. What does the BBC app do that BBC Sounds and iPlayer doesn’t. Seems to me it is defunct.
@BotN: I am a little confused. These sorts of issues seem to stem from early adopters who have enjoyed the technology early AND have learnt the processes and systems so that they have built clever routines of skills or apps or whatever they are called to enjoy them.
if an app name or service just changes it's name then I would be (personally) looking to these clever early adopters and smart skills/routine writers to be GUIDING us (the dumb and slow and not so technical) on how to use the next generation of apps or names or services.
Just like this whole customer-2-customer forum - I seek to offer knowledge based on dinasoar knowledge of eReaders and early Fires AND look to cutting edge advice and guidance on apps and Dots and Echo's and Alexa and all the new stuff which - frankly - I really do not understand so well.
Please guys - you know far more than most of us. By all means gripe about having to change things, but please, PLEASE guide us on what we need to do and how we need to do it :)
Regards, CW ( a wombat of very little brain) :)

I wonder why someone would follow their own alternative forum profile.
BOTN: you my not wish to accept , but people ARE allowed to express their dissatisfaction at having to revamp their set up to accommodate the changes that the BBC have decided to make.
Of course they are Colin. Just as I am allowed to express my opinion of what does it do, with atrocious reviews, that is not done by the beeb apps. And why is it so important, along with BBC Media Player - where does that fit in.
