Click the Actions button, and then click Deregister device. Deregistering your device prohibits Appstore purchases on that device, and disables the use of any app purchased from Amazon Appstore for Android and downloaded to that device. You can re-enable purchasing from the device by signing in to the Amazon Appstore for Android again.
This process should work for most devices registered to your Amazon account.

There is another way to de-register a device. First log into your Amazon account on the full Amazon website. At the top of the screen is "Hello....Your Account" - hover over that until a list appears. Click on the "Manage your content and devices" link. Select the "devices" tab. Find the device you want to de-register and click on the [...] tick box. That shows you the serial number of the device and gives you the option to de-register the device.
Note that if you are de-registering the device because it has been lost or stolen, you need to write down the serial number before you de-register the device. You then need to contact Amazon and give them the serial number so they can block the device to prevent it being registered to someone else.
Important: Keep the serial number securely in case you recover the device as you will need to give Amazon the serial number for them to unblock the device for you.
