I have a Kindle 5th Generation and it's always worked fine up until yesterday that it no longer automatically connected to my work and home WiFi like it used to.
When I went to settings to connect to my WiFi again, no WiFi options appear. I just says '0' WiFi options.
I have restarted it as well as my WiFi (I even found a thread that suggested to turn on airplane mode and then restart and it usually corrects the WiFi glitch), but nothing has worked.
Also, when I try to go 'old school' and transfer the new kindle book I bought today via USB, it doesn't even appear on my desktop. If it weren't for the fact that it still turns on, i would have thought it was 100% dead.
I would rather not have to fork out and buy for a new one seeing as the xmas season is coming up and my funds are pretty limited, so any kind of help to fix this would really be appreciated!
p.s I checked and the software is all up to date.
