I can't seem to find a way to get support direct from Amazon on this so I'm hoping some kind person might know the answer I'm seeking.
My mum's passed away so I now have her Kindle (yes, legally). It's fairly new, and I would like to use it myself - to replace my much older model. But it's locked with a numeric pass code, which I don't know. It's not the same as all her other 4 digit pins, which I do know (she used the same pin for everything!)
I've just wiped her phone and iPad, so I now no longer have access to her email account, which presumably is the method Amazon would use to automatically reset a pass code.
So is there any other way to factory reset this Kindle? Seems a shame to waste it. I'm not bothered about losing whatever content she had on there.
