Preparing to download some books recently, I noticed that one of them had an 'Update Available' option beneath the title. Scrolling through my library I found that there were now quite a few in there that had this annotation.
I seem to remember (admittedly it was some time ago) that there used to be an option on the manage content page that allowed you to sort your content into items that now had updates available. This seems to have now disappeared. Is there any shortcut whereby I can find the books with updates rather than going through the whole of my library.
unfortunately, Amazon removed the option to only see books with updates. You can go to your Manage Your Content and Devices page (under the upper right menu on the Amazon website) and click on preferences and scroll down to Automatic Book Updates and turn it on. However, it doesn't always work, especially if you normally keep wireless off for long time periods.
Something I've found that helps a bit when looking for updates is to make sure the whole page of 200 books is loaded, then search for the word update and you'll find them one by one. Then click on the see more, load the whole page again and repeat until you've done all your books. I have over 1600 books and it takes about 10-20 minutes max
