Apologies if this has been covered. I have done a search but nothing really gets to my issue and I'm hoping someone won't mind discussing this with me.
I have just bought the new Kindle 2019 with backlight and am enjoying the OS a lot but I have one gripe.
As you know in portrait mode the chin is large enough to hold the device whilst reading one handed but I always feel the need to steady it or wrap my hand around the back.
I look on with envy at the Kindle Oasis side bar which allows you to grip the Kindle with your whole hand.
As I'm sure you're thinking, I have found that I can approximate this rotated "chin" by turning the page layout to landscape.. With one proviso.. That I grip it with my weaker left hand.
I can't find away to orientate the landscape so I can hold "the chin" with my right hand as it is on the oasis and would allow me to hold the kindle much more comfortably.
Is there a way around this? Have I missed something? Can I petition the OS builders to incorporate it into a future firmware update?
Any help would be very grateful received.
Thank you in advance
you could ask them to do so by emailing them at firstname.lastname@example.org (amazon.com is the main headquarters where decisions like that are made)
and no, the only devices that rotate to all sides is the Oasis and the Fire tablets
