Any ideas here? Up to last week I was able to download e-books. Now I can't. I am connected to WiFi, have rebooted my Kindle and my payment options are all up to date. However - Amazon no longer recognises my device - even though the device tells me that it is fully synced.....Can anyone help here? Thanks.

have you rebooted both your device and your router? Did your device somehow become deregistered - you can check by going to the Amazon website and selecting Manage Your Content and Devices from the upper right menu, then clicking on Devices. It should be there
