I have tried to register my kindle and each time it says "the email address and password you entered do not match any accounts on record. Please try again'' The details are definitely correct. Also, when I enter the details and click ''submit'' i get sent an OTP on my phone. Anyone got any advice?
Putting it very simply, if the Amazon computer can not find the email address you are entering then there is either a problem with the Amazon computer or what you are typing. Simple as that :)
Use the HELP button on any Amazon web page to contact the Amazon help desk.
If YOU bought the kindle using your account then it is already registered to your amazon account. It comes delivered that way.
If you are being sent a one time password on your phone then you need to read the email in your email account that Amazon sent you explaining they were sending you a one time password and how to use it - from memory you simply include the code supplied in the password segment of your account login. Once. Only.
It is explained carefully in the Amazon email.
(I believe if they have sent you a OTP then yes whatever you enter for account and password will be wrong since you are not including the One Time Password code.)
