I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue. If you haven't yet, please try to restart your modem/router and try to change the charging USB cable: connect the device to an electrical outlet (not to the PC). After about 30-45 minutes and while your device is still charging, press and hold, or slide and hold, the Power button for a full 40 seconds, even after the screen goes blank, then let go. Press or slide the power button to restart if the device does not start up again on its own.check whether the recharge is done correctly. Full battery charging can take four to six hours, using the USB cable.
Once loaded, please check if the Kindle is recognized by the PC and if you can complete the update, otherwise try again to factory reset your device.
