Hi there, I've had my 7th gen paperwhite for 18 months, as have my mum and husband. I have regularly been emailing files to my mum and husband for them to read with no problems but suddenly, since last friday (15th Nov) I can't do it. I can't even send the files to myself. I've tried everything I can think of, turning off security program, rebooting everything, re-entering everyones kindle addresses, nothing has helped. I can get the files onto my kindle via the cable and technically, I suppose onto husbands too but that's no help for my mum unless I schlep the laptop over to hers.
Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. TIA Fiona.
if your husband and mother have separate accounts from yours, they have to add the email address you're using to send the files to their devices to their Approved Personal Document Email List on their accounts
the files must be in the formats listed on that page
the files must be less than 50MB
if they are using 3/4G and not wifi to sync to their accounts and download the files, then they have to set their personal documents charge limit to something other than zero
if their accounts or your account have Two-factor authentication turned on (See this page for information on that), they will receive an email (sometimes this goes to a Spam filter) in which they have to approve the transfer
