I have set up my Echo+ to my Amazon account with a smart device connected to it in Smart Home. I can see and control this from the app (IOS)
I have enabled Home Sharing and my wife has connected to the Echo+ using the app (IOS) with her Amazon account however there are no smart devices showing in her Smart Home.
Is there something we need to enable?
Happy Christmas! To add accounts to your Echo or other Alexa-powered device, open the Amazon app and tap on the menu button in the top-left corner. Next, tap on Settings, and then select Manage your Amazon Household under the Account heading. Following the directions from there should let you add a new user to your Alexa device. It sounds like you've done everything correctly so far, you do also have to say "Alexa switch to (your wife's name)'s profile and that should bring the Smart Home devices online on her app. Double check all the steps for household sharing have been completed here.

I had the same problem and contacted Amazon about this earlier today. I was advised that at present, the devices are specific to the person's account and not the the household. Therefore your wife would only be able to active the devices by speaking to Alexa, and not through the app if she is signed in with her own account details (quite disappointing).
I'd be interested to know if you find a way to resolve the problem.
Just one other thing that may help. If the devices can't be recognised when speaking to Alexa, try switching profiles, so the echo is in your profile (account).
