I have an Echo Plus in the Living Room and another in the Bedroom.
I have 2x Philips Hue bulbs in the Living Room and 4 in The Bedroom.
Does anyone know how I can separate control of those lights to ONLY the device in the specific room.
I have tried creating groups, ie, 4 bulbs and bedroom echo, 2 other bulbs with living room echo, yet i can be in one room and control the lights from the other, which is what I want to prevent.

I tried Amazon chat, no joy.
Any help appreciated.
Hey PhoXx1972!
The groups would be the only way to have them linked per device and you've done that brilliantly! Not being able to control them all from the Alexa app though would only be something you could accomplish by de-registering one of the devices and registering it to another Amazon Account in your household. In doing that you would have to log in and out between those accounts on the Alexa app to control the devices distinctly or rather stop them from being all controlled by one app. In honest, it's not something I would recommend since it would be very tiresome doing all of that each time you wanted to control your lighting. You can always provide feedback to our development team and ask that this be a feature they add in the future here! Have a wonderful holiday!

I changed the wake word from Alexa to Echo on one of mine to prevent a similar problem.
