I have three Echo Dots and five assorted Hue lights, and everything works fine. However, if I remove the power from any one of the Dots, the other two become unable to control any of the Hue lights. Is this to be expected?

Hey peteepoos, welcome to our Digital and Device Forum!
I am sorry that you are having this problem. If they are added into a Group the devices, that would interrupt this Group. What you could do is create a Group with 2 of the Devices if that would be an option. So you could unplug that one that is not in the Group at any time.
