I have a .docx file saved in Amazon Drive so that I can work on it between my laptop using Word (occassionally), but mostly on my desktop Mac using Textedit.
I opened it on my mac today and began writing, and soon after realised I that for some reason I was working on a version from early August and around 25 pages were missing. I saved the progress I had made as a new Textedit file and closed the original file without saving, hoping it would revert back to the most recent version. However, I suppose it autosaves and when it reopened it was still the August version.
The only thing I can think of is that Amazon Drive might have synced and overwritten the file with the save of the last time I worked on it on my laptop. However this doesn't really make sense because I've synced my laptop with AD many times since August, and still been able to work on the correct and most recent version of the file on my Mac for the last two months.
I'd like to know if it's possible to view all versions/"saves" of a file saved on AD, and recover them?
