I am running the desktop Amazon Photos app on an iMac (High Sierra) and it's been working fine for quite a while. I am using it to backup my Mac Photos Library and photos in a few other folders. I have added new photos to my Mac photo library but these will not upload using Backup, instead on the "Details panel" I get "Photos Library ....... Failed" but no further explanation of what's wrong.
Now, I am paying for 100gb of storage and granted, I have exceeded this limit with video uploads but surely that shouldn't stop more photos uploading.
An account that exceeds the storage quota can log in and download files but cannot upload, sync or share files. After 180 days in an over-quota status, files are deleted (starting with the most recent uploads being deleted first) until your account is no longer over quota. Account holders are notified prior to file deletion.
Thanks for the response. However, I am an Amazon Prime customer and I do pay for additional space for my videos. I am aware that my account is over-quota for my videos but I thought that my photos would keep uploading as I thought Amazon Prime gave me unlimited space for those.
