Every since I upgraded to unlimited, I have been unable to successfully download my playlist from online to offline on my phone. It takes many hours and then downloads only about two-thirds of the list. I have an iPhone 7
Closed all open apps? Have you restarted aka rebooted your phone - Google how to do this (this has changed dependent upon model) It is NOT the same as switching it off and on again. The former always need doing and the latter at least once a month or when things don’t want to play with other nicely.
How big is the playlist. Download via what? Wi fi or 4G? Settings correct? Trying to download on the wrong setting? Did it download successfully before? Have you deregistered and deleted the app and reloaded it all? what iOS? App settings correct? Download settings correct? And on and on...
Just a few questions that need answering before any semblence of help can be offered.
OK. Have deleted all uncessessary apps, deleted and reinstalled Amazon Music. Have just done a soft reboot on the phone - all have made no difference. The playlist is 145 songs, but the most I have managed to download offline is 80 and that took about 8 hours. I'm using only wifi for download. The playlist download has always been a little slow, but nothing like this and eventually all songs would move across. Not sure what the app setting and download settings should be, I haven't changed them, though.
You must deregister the app before deleting it and reinstalling it. Amazon is helpful in that should you accidentally delete the app it will not forget the settings. The only way to clear everything out is to deregister.
no soft boot. Do the hard boot as advised.
deregister app. Delete app. Hard boot. Reinstall app.
all other apps work ok? Or are they slow?
is your wifi with BT? You may be auto connecting via the BT FON feature which is slow in comparison. Go to wifi and forget this connection (settings, wifi tap on the blue i to the right then forget), then pick the usual connection.
are you using 2.4 or 5ghz connection? Are they named differently? If they are not then name them uniquely in you router settings.
ensure mobile data is switched off (settings, mobile data)
what is your mobile data plan? Is it slow using this? This will at least point to the website or wifi being slow.
