Has the 'My Soundtrack' station been removed as a feature from Amazon Music Unlimited in the UK?
It is referred to on the help pages for Prime (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201614430) so I assume it's still available to Prime members, but I definitely used to access it on my Unlimited account, which I've used for over a year. Now I cannot find it in Amazon Music searches on any of my devices (web app, PC, mobile, Echo...). I also had its URL bookmarked on my browser, but it now redirects to the 'Stations' front page.
Does anyone have any information about this? All the searches I've tried on the web and in social media have so far got me nowhere.
Ah. That's all very disappointing (and means Amazon need to update their guidance). I wonder why?
I found it to be a very useful feature. It was a great way to get Amazon to play something tailored to my tastes but also random (when I wasn't sure what I wanted), without having to keep within a specific genre/mood etc as the other stations do. I liked the way 'My Soundtrack' tended to move between different types of music that I liked, but would also play a few similar-sounding tracks in a row so it felt quite natural. Not sure if it was the algorithm or just a coincidence, but it certainly worked for me.
