Thank you Jamze, seems I cannot get more music on my 16gb iphone.
I generally dont use the wifi unless listening to the music which is why I downloaded it to play offline, this was very useful on my recent cruise, not much wifi and expensive when there is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
I have been reading about the possibility of adding a flash drive, plugging into the lightning charging area and putting all my music in there (complete works of Mozart as an example). Before I look at Amazon what are your thoughts, would that work, and if so any recommendation ? You have to realise that at 75 I am not very technical so any advise would be appreciated.
Ah I see, so no mobile data service on the ship either 🤔
I found this info. It refers to Prime Music but I assume it applies to Amazon Music as a whole. Says 'Prime Music cannot be copied onto CDs and other external storage'
I've got no experience of iPhone external flash storage, but assume they can't extend the internal phone storage, but appear like a separate drive, like plugging a disk into a PC. So Amazon Music won't see it. You could buy one, try it, return if it doesn't do the job?
What about getting a second-hand 64GB iPod Touch just for music on your trips?
