I have the Amazon Music Unlimited Single Device plan , which is perfect for me. As I only play music on my Echo and not on my Devices.
I have been asking Alexa to play different songs and creating playlist which works well.
Next step I tried was asking for music titles that I remember from my old CDs. EG. Carpenters Gold. And Elvis with The Royal Philharmonic.
That worked really well
However some albums wont allow this and a message pops up to download the full Music Unlimited while I don't want.
Is there and simple way I can find out what music I can play?
Adding to peterhowe's reply. The message pops up where? The AMU music catalog is the same for each of its plans, it's just the number of streams and accessibility which differ between each. Single-device plan doesn't allow for browsing the AMU catalog on another device, such as a PC. Doing that would prompt a notice regarding the need to upgrade to the Individual Plan.
If you bought your physical CDs from Amazon you should be able to request them from Alexa even without any Prime or AMU subscriptions.
That's a great idea but none of my CDs were bought from Amazon lol. Been asking Alexa all afternoon for music ( titles jotted down from my cds) But am getting nothing like that lol. Problem asking for Billy Joel An innocent mam album as the song title is also that. Sorry I am an oldie and love technology, but this has got me beat. Nothing on Google helps me here. I dont want to have to keep requesting songs individually always.. Just want to hear musc CDs I love. Maybe I'm awkward.
