I wanted to download the Pluto TV app to my Fire TV stick but it is not available from the app store. Instead the app store search gives Bonko TV which is useless in comparison.
This problem is not just related to the Fire Stick so appears to be within the app store.
I'm based in the UK so wonder if that is the reason although I cannot see why it should make any difference.
Unfortunately Fires are not "pure" Android devices and will only load and run apps from the Amazon app store. If it is available from the "play store" it is not supported by Amazon.
Just looked up "Pluto TV" and it seems to be a Windows app, which will never run on a Fire.
Also found it in "Play store" which again is not supported by Fires.
You can add play store but you will have to use Google or similar to find out how. WARNING doing this could invalidate any guarantee and if you do it incorrectly it could make your Fire inoperatable.
