We've bought a Lenovo android tablet to go with a Samsung android smartphone. When we bought an app on the smartphone from the Amazon appstore, the app should also be available for delivery to the tablet - why might it not be?
I have tried loading the Amazon appstore to the tablet, but can't download the application?
The tablet seems not to be recognised as a device - how do I do this?
We did log in to Amazon using the tablet, and then I 'delivered' the app to the android devices which included 2 or 3 android devices and a fire stick which we also have. It is isn't very clear which devices are actually registered. If it had automatically registered the tablet, then it should have delivered the app, but it didn't.
Another option was to deliver to the cloud, which we also did, but I couldn't seem to find an app for the tablet which could see this either.
The best thing to do is to go into "content and devices" then devices click on the action box to the left of the device. on the top line of pop up box is the assigned name with a small edit in blue against it. Change this name and it will be changed on the actual device. Once you know which devices are which you can change for a more meaningful name.
You should also be able to change it on the device's app but they are all different and difficult to explain how.
