I use the kindle app on an ipad 2017. I have 200+ kindle books that I've read but recently I've noticed a problem. Usually when viewing my library the books I've read have a full line of blue dots after the title, if I've read only part of a book the blue dots cover only part of the line and books I've yet toread have no blue dots. Recently this is not working in that books I've read sometimes have no blue dots. Since I'm often reading two or more books concurrently this can be confusing. There are books that I have read that, going by the lack of blue dots, show as having not been read. Any suggestions?
if the App is like the Kindles, then only books actually downloaded to the device have the row of dots - if you're looking at your All or Cloud tab, then you're looking at a mix of books on your device and account along with links to the books just on your account and the latter will not have a row of dots. On my Kindle to see what I've actually read by looking at the row of dits, I'd have to download all my books

Use collections to organise your books. My currently reading books are in a Not Finished collection. When finished they are removed from that and put into a Finished Reading collection (and others if needed). All unread books are in a Not Read collection.
The iPad app collections are really easy to use.

Hello DLA23,
Welcome to the Forums!
Have you tried re-syncing your Kindle content to see if the issue persists?
To sync content, tap More, and then tap Sync or Sync to Furthest Page.
Please let me know if that resolves your issue.
