The only unremitting gripe that seems to come up is the fragility of the micro USB charging port. Seems to be true for so many devices, including Fires and Kindles.
Indeed, My (boring) much loved Blackberry Playbook USB charger has failed - lucky that it also has a magnetic contact charging point!
With so many new phones and things getting "contactless" charging does anyone know what sort of cost/tech is involved and whether it's worth polling Amazon to see if they could consider introducing it as a next major enhancement for both Fires and Kindles?
