I've noticed on my credit card bill that I've been charged £3.99 several times over the last couple of months for 'Amazon Digital Svcs'. I don't have any orders that match up so I'm a bit stumped - has anyone else discovered this?
Thanks I’ve found the problem. I seem to have subscribed to unlimited music. Goodness knows how because I didn’t do it intentionally. I have now cancelled it and also removed credit cards so hopefully this won’t happen again Interestingly I did not receive an email confirming this subscription !!
@Jlynn: great news. I fear that it does seem very possible to unintentionally subscribe to services, especially on a tablet (well, I find it has almost happened a couple of times when using a tablet - I blame my big fingers, small buttons and a sometimes "lumpy" internet service!)
One way to guarantee no such problem in the future is to fund the Amazon account with Gift Tokens and remove the credit card details. Subscriptions can not be taken out against gift token balances (or not at the moment anyway). It may seem an extreme protection, it certainly is one that can be darn inconvenient, but it works for me.
